PHILIPSBURG, SINT MAARTEN, May 12, 2016 – Oyster Bay Beach Resort, a shared ownership resort on the eastern coast of St. Maarten, recently won a 2016 ARDA (American Resort Development Association) award in Resort Design for the refurbishment of the Infinity Restaurant and Bar. The project was part of a continual, phased renovation process that began after the purchase of the resort by Pearl Development NV in 2003.
Florida-based architectural firm, Joseph Allan & Company, and the St. Petersburg, Florida design firm, Pabor Designs, were retained to create an appealing modern Caribbean aesthetic for the restaurant and bar, which is open to owners, exchange guests, and visitors, and is known for its international cuisine. The $1.3 million restaurant renovation was completed in October of 2015 and has had an immediate positive impact on guest satisfaction, service levels, and revenue.
This latest tribute is just one of the numerous accolades that Oyster Bay has earned for its commitment to delivering high-quality hospitality in all aspects of its operations.
